Nic Fairbank
CEO
Joining ERS in 2024, Nic Fairbank is an experienced businessperson with demonstrated leadership in developing organisations strategic direction and sustainability.
He is well versed working in highly competitive landscapes and across multiple geographies.
Nic has held CEO, COO, MD and Director positions across the industrial, human services and security sectors in both public (ASX listed) and private enterprise.
Working with the deep capabilities of the ERS team, he is committed to sustainable growth and support of industry across Australia and abroad.

Wayne Weeks
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Wayne plays a pivotal role within ERS, focusing specialised training, security and crisis and emergency management, and the response of ERS’s operations across the globe.
With an acute understanding of human behaviour and unique operational skillset, Wayne has more than 36 years military experience, including 30 years within the Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). He has led, managed, trained, coached and mentored mission critical teams in complex, diverse, sensitive and strategic political environments.
An expert trainer, Wayne is passionate about the development of high performing teams. He has extensive teaching experience and exceptional skillset in high-risk and firearms training.
As well as training the SASR, Wayne has led development programs for Australia’s Police agencies, including high performing Tactical Response and Emergency Response units.
Our Leadership Team

Adrian Kotowski
GM Emergency Operations Centre
A highly experienced specialist in intelligence, security risk, and emergency management, Adrian has experience across multiple sectors, including government agencies, private organisations, and the military.
He brings to ERS a strong ability to handle complex environments and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation and emergency management.
Adrian also served in the Australian Army, where he gained valuable experience managing intelligence processes and led intelligence operations during deployments to Afghanistan as part of the Special Operations Task Group.

Andrew Clarke
GM of Client Engagement
As ERS’s Client Engagement lead, Andrew works closely with clients to identify needs and help them ensure the safety and well-being of personnel, and manage their risks and reputation in high-risk environments.
He has diverse experience and expertise across risk management, safety procedures, and training delivery, extensive specialist certifications.
Andrew’s experience covers emergency management and safety in mining, offshore, construction and critical infrastructure. His expertise ensures organisations adhere to industry standards and best practices through thorough training needs analysis and mapping.

Brian Lee
GM Advisory
Brian specialises in security and risk assessments, crisis and emergency management planning and delivering desktop exercises, business continuity planning and training and venue security.
Prior to ERS, Brian consulted for local, national and global companies, was the General Manager of Security and Surveillance at Crown Casinos, and spent more than a decade with the WA Police.
Brian’s risk assessment skills and experience covers the spectrum of risks, from security through to crisis and emergency management, medical services, intelligence, health and safety and training.

Chris Phillips
Head, Environmental Risk & Resilience
Chris leads ERS’s Environmental Risk & Resilience services, guiding complex environmental approvals, compliance frameworks, and sustainability strategy for high-risk projects across the resources, infrastructure, and government sectors.
With over two decades of experience spanning environmental regulation, biodiversity conservation, and operational leadership, Chris brings precision and practicality to every project.
Chris previously led national and international environmental crime investigations, and major environmental assessments for resource and infrastructure programs across the State and Commonwealth agencies.

Tiffany Craig
Head, Advisory Growth & Group Marketing
Tiffany has many years experience in managing large, cross-functional teams, including national sales, account management, recruitment, compliance, and marketing teams.
Tiffany's focus on streamlining processes, enhancing procedures, and driving growth has consistently yielded exceptional results across multiple industries including risk management, defence, recruitment, aviation, transport, vocational education and training (VET), mining & resources and hospitality.
At ERS, Tiffany oversees the growth strategy for the Advisory business, with a focus on both national and global markets and leads Group Marketing & Brand Strategy.

Liz Lucas
Chief of Staff
Liz has a strong background in people, culture, and training, working across industries including employment services , training and development, workforce solutions and defence.
She is passionate about developing talent, driving growth, and building high performing, values led teams.
Liz leads the strategy and management of aligning ERS’s 500+ employees and contractors to align people strategies to client needs and business outcomes.

Aaron Younger
Commercial Contracts Manager
With over 15 years experience in high performance team environments, including three Olympic cycles and the Australian water polo captaincy, Aaron is adept at delivering outcomes under pressure.
Having founded and managed a number of businesses, including two profitable exits, Aaron has strong commercial and entrepreneurial credentials. His business experience covers industries from sportswear to hospitality, mining and energy, technology and finance, and he holds an MBA.
Aaron manages ERS’s commercial contracts with clients and partners.
